| Following is the output in bash for echo $PATH: /usr/java/j2re1.4.1_02/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0/bin:/root/bin:/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0/bin This is the output for echo $JAVA_HOME: /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0 And this is the /etc/profile: JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/j2re1.4.1_02 PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH export JAVA_HOME (No other JAVA entries) /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0 does not exist, so - unsurprisingly - LimeWire refuses to install. Assuming my profile is correct, where does the echo $JAVA_HOME /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.0 come from? Why does it not echo /usr/java/j2re1.4.1_02? Thanx for any help. |
