![]() I have been trying to install 1.6b on suse 7.1 with no success. I changed runlime.sh so that it contains /usr/lib/jdk1.3/bin/java -classpath . RunLime But I get an error message something like path or file not found when I try to run the script. When I look for /usr/lib/jdk1.3 it is not there. I installed java off of the limewire link with the rpm file. I'm thinking that I am missing something very basic, but don't know what it is. I have tried all the other install commands, but java -cp is not recognized as an option for the java command. I previously installed netscape 6.01- could this have anything to do with having the wrong java? Is there a way to tell if the java is working and the right release etc.? |
