Thumbs down 55,000 files

I'm just wondering if, after being up for two hours or so, 55,000 files is a reasonable number of files to expect access to. At least this is according to my statistics, which I guess may, or may not, be accurate.

So two things I guess...

One, are the statistics accurate? If not, why bother?

Two, why does it seem that I used to get much more access to many more files before this whole "ultrapeer" thing came around. I really do long for the days of the first, original, limewire.

Any answers to this vexation would be much appreciated - send to k2kid@mac.com as well if you might.

Thanks
