Lightbulb I GOT IT!!!

I figured it out. Follow these instructions and you will have your slice back...

First start up your latest version of Limewire. Then select programs to search for the "Limewire Pro 2.3.4 OS X" program.

After you download this program from the network, save it to your desktop. Then double click the new icon for 2.4.3 and the disc should mount automatically.

Next, double click the new icon recently mounted to your desktop. You will see the folder for Limewire. Double click this folder and look for the slice inside. Control click the slice and select "Show Package Content". Then open "Contents" folder, and then "Recources" folder.

Fiinally you will see the "LimeWire.icns" file. Drag this out of the folder and on to your desktop. Close out of all folders and open a new finder window.

Find your Limewire file in your applications folder and open it. Comntrol click the Limewire program. Select "Show Package Content". Then open "Contents" folder, and then "Resources" folder. Now trash the file "LaunchAnywhere.icns". Next drag your new file "LimeWire.icns" from the desktop and into this "Resources" folder. Finally, rename the "LimeWire.icns" file to "LaunchAnywhere.icns".

Now you must log out and log back into OS X for the dock to be re-set. This is quite a process but if you really enjoy the look of your OS X icons, then it is worth it.
