moving music files

How do I move MP3 files from my Limewire Library Folder to say, my desktop so that I can select them as an attachment to an e-mail?

You don't need to move them at all. In your email application it should ask you where the file you want to attach is. Instruct your application to look in Home-->Shared and you can then select the files you want.
