My mac keeps switching over to Ultrapeer (which I didnt mind at first) but now it will just automatically quit because of all the activity. I am wondering if there is a way to just stay client (leaf) status in LimeWire?

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll try it to see if it makes it any better.

My conclusion after disabling ultrapeer and having the program run crash-free for 24 hours now:
Ultrapeer = B A D |

what was your connection speed n>dsl or n<dsl. ultrapeer is for T1 >. no upload no download. no ultrapeer no good limewire. i strongly advise T1> to use ultrapeer mode always, or at least whil they are not using their computer.
