Search Button is gray

I just installed Limewire. I am connected to the internet on an iBook, OS X. The search button stays gray and therefore, will not let me initiate a search. What is the problem. Thanks

the problem is that, though you are connected to the Internet, you are not connecting to the Gnutella network. OS X's firewall may need to be configured to accept Gnutella traffic, or your ISP may be blocking access to Gnutella - you can run the telnet test, to see if this is the case:
