Unhappy Limwire Quitting in OSX

Hi Limewire Forum,

I have been using LW 2.4 under OSX and been loving it. Yesterday it started to quit on startup. I tried unistalling it to upgrade to 2.5 but the insaller quits too. I removed the obvious files. Now the installer for the mew 2.5 quits. Could there be old "preference" or some such files that are still on my system. It seems unusual that a new installer should quit.

I haven't installed any new software so this is all quie a mystery. Could anyone suggest a way to resolving this.

Many thanks and warm regards,

Kevin

Big JiLm is flying high
Thumbs down Constantly quits in OSX, incomplete downloads, blame the RIAA?

This program is beyond frustrating. I have about 10k files, and it keeps quitting during start-up, after about 4k. It never did this before, now it does it every friggin time, and I can't start the program to change my settings to not share my files, so I can at least start the program.

This program really sucks. When you want to share a large amount of files, it won't even start. When you don't share any files, it starts right up & defeats the purpose of sharing.

I am almost starting to believe the RIAA put this program out to kill filesharing???

Default

Mine used to crash constantly until I disabled the ultrapeer capability. Hasn't crashed since, in almost two months.
