quitting
I am running OSX and when I try to quit limewire, I can't without force quitting. Any ideas?

Try going to Tools>Options>Shutdown and select the 'Shutdown Immediately' button.

Only Statistics
The only option I have under tools is statistics. How do I find the shutdown.
