From time to time when I start up Limewire the partial downloads window is empty. Gonzo! Disappeared! Invisible ! Now I understand there is a checkbox that is defaulted to 7 days which you can change, and I have changed mine to 30 days. So I fully expect to see some files disappear after the alloted time, but not all files! When I check the Incomplete files folder everything and more is there. Now this is not a problem with small files as they do not take long to redownload. but the 300-600 meg files is another thing. These babies you nurse and coddle along for days and weeks till they are complete. There has to be a way to reattach these files so you can resume the download. That Force Resume buttom must be for show as I have not gotten any productive use out of it. Any similar problems or answers to the above problem? |

| 1) One downloader might create and manage multiple incomplete files. So a downloader might try to download similar (but not exactly the same files ) from different locations could create therefore multiple incomplete files. 2) Downloaders, that are stopped do not delete their own incomplete files. Incomplete files will be deleted, when they are outdated, - you set it to 30 days after they were created. |
