ok, i have a very fast cable connection to the internet and i also have more than 1400 songs in my shared folder; however i still have no one uploading from me. What's the deal with that? Also, i can never seem to download any songs; i always get "requery sent" messages. Is something amiss in my limewire preferences? Does anyone else have any of these problems?

Yeah - I get the exact same thing. Once in a while, I'll get an upload, but I'm *more* concerned with the downloads, of course :-) I've always attributed it to alot of traffic, and when say 10 people are waiting for the same file, you have to wait in line. Leaving it on overnight seems to get me a better percentage of succussful DLs. With a system like this, patience is required!
I wish I knew how to use the connections settings. I haven't seen any good instructions on that, but I only see about 3 - max 4 - connected hosts at any time. If more were connected, the chances of getting your files faster would probably increase. I'm open to any thoughts or tips on this if anyone can help:
