I try and download the new version of limewire and it is a zip file. the open up program opens it but the installer won't work. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. I download the installer, it unzips, and the Limewire
Installer sits on my desktop nice and pretty. When I click on it, nada. Then when I try and go through Expander, it doesn't work.
I am very frustrated with this as I've tried to download this program many times and there must be an answer.
Please respond!!

Same problem: I delete the previous version I had and now i can not install any version: I tried 2.7.3, 2.6.3, 2.6.5 and the installer stalled. I put back my preference in user/library/preferences (.limewire and the .plist one) but always the same problem. I will not use limewire because I have problem only with it and I don't find solution.
