am i doing something wrong or is the performance of limewire horrible compare to Kazza?
i actually bought the licensed software because i figured they must limit searching in the free version for instance, i am trying to find a disney video. with kazaa on my pc, i have no issues. with limewire on my mac there is nothing out there. if i am lucky enough to find a file i want, the download always fails. i am incredibly disappointed. I have never used kazaa before, but I guess the amount of users (and thus files) which are online differs quite a bit between kazaa and gnutella. So you may not find things that often on gnutella.
Yes, unfortunately LimeWire is a little slow. I think that is so because it was written in Java and Mac's virtual machine for Java is not very fast. But I'm not absolutely sure about this. |
