Does anyone else have this problem?

If I place any window over top of an open Limewire window, everything slows to a crawl, and my CPU Monitor is pegged. I even get the little spinning beachball, just to close a Finder window. I am using 10.2.2

This means I have to minimize the Limewire window, everytime I open a Finder window, change songs in iTunes, really anything that requires putting Limewire in the background.

for me limewire in osx turns the whole system to CRAP. everything is so painfully slow that doing anything but using limewire is next to impossible. this hasn't changed at all, ever, and it really ****** me off. why does this have to be the only program that works for mac users? why does it have to screw with the system SO MUCH?? the thing that gets me is that they want you to pay for this crappy software!
