trouble with uploads/itunes 3.0

my uploads don't appear when I search for them on Limewire. any suggestions out there?
also, there must be a smooth way for limewire to interface with itunes without using an ipod, but I keep ending up with multiple steps and multiple copies of things. is there a good overall itunes guide or forum anyone can recommend?
