it seems that if i leave the computer, or hide limewire, at some point everything seems to freeze and activity stops, i.e. uploads and downloads are interrupted, and when i look at connections, they are there but there is seemingly no activity. would a screensaver or sleeping monitor affect this?
thanks b |

I have seen this happening if LimeWire runs using the 1.3.1 JVM, the default for the official distribution. I have never seen this happen with the 1.4.1 JVM.

Well, my builds do run under 1.4.1 if the java upgrade is installed via the software update control panel. Assuming that you did do that, do you have other net access when this happens?
