 Darn! Knew i shouldn't have said anything about the G3--just had a JVM crash while reading your reply Greg (only 109 threads; sharing 866 files), and it was fine for a week. If you can find a better fix than the shutdown voodoo, please post back! I hope Apple doesn't go the MS route and use the bugs to market new OS software. btw et voilà, I think I got the GUI freeze messing with the bug message or proxy prefs on the G4, but not using the dp java on the G3. I'll keep looking. Any more ideas?  |
