Tried 3.5.8 again. Downloaded almost instantly. Dragged to Applications folder on H.D. and tried opening it up. Got as far as Loading Core Components... eventually the beachball showed up and I Forced Quit.

Tried the beta app. 3.6.0. Took a while to d/l. Dragged to Applications folder on H.D. and tried opening it up. Got as far as Loading Core Components... eventually the beachball showed up and I Forced Quit.
