Hello, I'm new to this board. I have been reading posts similar to my problem. I use a Mac OS 10.1.2 G4. I was using Limewire 2.9.8 which worked fine. Then I installed the newer version, and every time I started it it always said "limewire has unexpectedly quit". If anybody has figured out how to fix this problem, please let me know. I appreciate it. Thanks.

Try running the jum version of Limewire, which is built for OS X.
It can be found here: http://www.mager.org/LimeWire/LimeWire.html |

I did that, and all I got was a long page of code in another browser window. I guess it doesn't work. Do you have any ideas? Thanks for replying.

It does work.
What browser do you use? Try going to this link: http://www.mager.org/LimeWire/LimeWi...5%20OS%20X.dmg |

Salut, I know your problem.... You're using IE... BAD! (get camino at mozilla.org ....) In IE you have to right click (or ctrl click) on the link and save it on the desktop.
Why aren't you upgrading to 10.1.5? It's free and much better or yet get 10.3 wich is tons faster..... Bonne chance |
