If you open Utilities/Console you can scroll through the error messages logged by OSX. The File menu of Console also lets you open any crashlogs assosciated with LimeWire. Such crashes should be pretty rare if you're running a 3.6.15 version, unless Software Update missed the Java Update a week or so ago.
