I've noticed that after downloading certain mpeg movie files they behave in an odd way. Let's say I have an mpeg file that is 2min long. I'll play it in quicktime the movie will play to about 30 seconds then end. When I rewind it starts on the next thirty seconds of the movie and end at about thirty seconds. I can only watch this file at about 30sec at a time. I suspect somewhere along the download path the movie files are being squashed somewhere.
Anyone else have this same problem? |

Yes. Quicktime seems to read some errors as end-of-file markers, but the free VLC or mPlayer play those files fine.
