 a clean install should help (search for "limew" to find the prefs), and you can also try Jens-Uwe Mager's free CVS build that uses a different installer. http://www.mager.org/LimeWire/LimeWire.html A while back, turning off the show Tip of the Day on Startup in preferences helped. Maybe turning off all prefs re automatic startup will help again.  |
