i've recently downloaded limewire to my computer (which runs on panther), but when i try and start the program up, down at the bottom left hand corner, where it shows how many files i'm sharing, the number just continually goes up. i can never search for files because the program perpetually shares more and more files (it will get up to 80,000 to 90,000 files) until i get frustrated with it and have to force quite. does anyone know how i can remedy this. do i need to shut something off on my computer? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I answered your other thread, so you can delete this one if you want (click the edit button on your post, and it will open up a window where you'll see a checkbox and a delete thread button).
