I've downloaded this thing 3x now and its still not working. The program starts but no windows pop up. I tried to do a search and still nothing.....what gives?

You mean you finish the installation and then when you try to open the application it does nothing, or maybe that the installation itself doesn't complete?

Did you dld the right version corresponding to your OS?

I've installed the program and it starts fine but once its up there are no windows to download anything and i can't bring any windows up and yes i've downloaded the os x version since thats the os i am using.

I think my installation went quite smooth. In fact, I trashed my first attempt and re-downloaded it aand made sure my firewall dialed and limewire is still killing my internet connection (cable ethernet).
I get no warnings nothing just kicked off the net!

You mean you can't even see the search field? You, know, where you type what you wanna search.
In the new version, the dlds window appears only if you start dlding something: if there's no dlds going on, it just doesn't appear.

No, Everything is fine; I'm connected, searching, downloading , the works then all of a sudden my internet connection fails.

no i can't see the search field. I tried to open the search window but nothing pops up. None of the windows from the top menu open up. Any ideas what might be wrong?
