I have always experiance problems right after I do an update on Limewire and now I have it right were I want it with no problems. However, it keeps asking me to upgrade to 4.0.4 and I'm perfectly happy with 3.8.10.
How do I shut off the updater so I can keep my 3.8.10 ? |

I don't think you can (unless you're some kinda hacker or I'm wrong and there actually is a way to do it...). LW just detects the newer version and will keep on bugging you to update your own until you do. Maybe you should try it: who knows, maybe it might work great too...

I'd like to. But I have always had to fight to get the newer versions to work right.
The last update I did, it took me a month to get it to work. I just don't want to deal with the headaches, anymore. I'm good right where I am, thanks. I just hate pop ups. |
