I now have Windows Media v. 9. which I was told is what I need to run the wmv files. I am still not able to run the files. I open the Windows media icon and I click on the wmv file and nothing happens. I tried dragging the wmv file and it won't move from Limewire. Please help. Thank you.

Drag-and-drop is not yet available in LW (I think it is in the betas).
Go to your Home directory in the Finder. Oh, whaddaya know. There a folder there called Shared! Enter it. All finished dlds are there. Go to a .wmv file and select it (don't open it yet). Press Cmd-I (The apple key and I if you don't know that the apple key is called Command key) and go to Open with. Once there, select Windows Media Player as the default and then click the "Change All" button. From now on, even if you try to play them from LW, they should open in WMP. Cheers

LW 4.1.5 is the beta version. Good isn't it! Wait till LW 4.2 comes out! 4.0.8 is the present official version.
I just tried what you said about dragging & dropping from LW's library (a shared folder) & iTunes played it. Wow never knew that could be done before! It even worked from the present dwnlds (53% dwnlded) in the main search & dwnld window & iTunes copied it to its own library & started to play it.
