 there were problems in the past with USB modems having trouble handling the number of connections needed by LimeWire. If you can switch to an ethernet modem you should have far fewer problems. Most reputable broadband modems also have an ethernet port. Reducing the number of connections is a poor workaround (fewer simultaneous downloads, uploads, and Ultrapeer capability disabled).  |
