bouncing limewire icon leads nowhere

what seems to be the best method for fixing this problem then? i'm not too OS savy when it comes to fixing things....
running OSX 10.3.7 on powerbook G4 1.33GHz w limewire 4.2.6. worked fine until upgraded to 10.3.7

1st try to delete your LW Prefs folder called .limewire (whilst LW is closed!) & found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire

Either use the Standalone Java or 10.3.7 installers or see these:

thanks for quick response. this is my 1st time posting.
downloading the java right now. i get lost when trying to do any OS stuff. new computer, new to OSX!
talk slow & use small words to me.

wow, the java seemed to do the trick!
i read that in some other people situ limewire would sometimes work/sometimes not. hopefully i'm good 2 go.
