It is 100% Apple's fault. They broke the language that LimeWire requires to run. They've done it before, they'll do it again, unless people call and complain. There's no need to disamble anything. You just need to download and install the security update manually. Their Software Update doesn't work right. Call Apple and complain that they're breaking your computer.

Sorry for the incrimination, I have not the source code !

BUT I have downloaded the java update and intalled it manually and... NOTHING.

Nota : I am french, using a french MacOsX, and there is NO french Java update.

et voilà April 18th, 2005 01:20 PM

Jibe: cela n'a pas d'importance que ton os x soit en français, toutes les mises à jour apple sont multilingues / doesn't matter that your os x isn't english, the apple updates apply on all language os x systems

Ciao ;)

Limewire Tech has confirmed the problem is a Java security update. The link is below.

"Please download the latest Java Security update:

Good !

Finally, of all the remedies, the only one which is efficient for me, has been to repair the authorizations, then to download and execute only this security update (and no other one) :

Thanks to all !

It's true. I did this and it worked great. Just follow the link, manually download the update, go through the installer, and restart your computer. Works great now.
