Someone please help me!!!

Okay so anyhelp that anyone can give me would be great. This has happened before, but i got it to stop and finish before and i cant get it to this time. I am downloading a movie, and it will finish the download, then verify the file contents to about 98% or 99% at which point Lime Wire will freeze up (only lime wire) and after like 3, 4, or 5 minutes will unfreeze and go back to like 96%, 97%, or 98% of the download, and download until it finishes, and then verify the file contents to about 98% or 99% and so on and so forth. It keeps doing this for hours and i cant get it to just finish!! I am really mad right now... Last time this happened i just like killed the download and started it again, or quit Lime Wire and open it again, and then it finally finished, but i tried that this time and it wont stop the cycle that it does.

It is because somebody uploads you corrupted data. LW can verify chunks for corruption, when found, it tries 6 attemps to complete without corruption or the download fails. Are you using LW 4.8.1, as the symptoms might be lower about the freezing?

hmm i have LW 4.8.0 and it has done the process over 6 times..is there anyway to complete the download? or is it just corrupted...The other file that this happened to finally finished and works fine.
