It wont install
I download the installer and click on it and it opens up QuickTime. So i presses command-i to get info and it says that its kind is a BINA. what is that and how do I make it work?

Where did you go to download the installer? What's the file name?
It should be called LimeWireOSX.dmg If you know how to calculate md5 sums (use the md5 command in the OS X Terminal), for LW basic, MD5 (LimeWireOSX.dmg) = e360ff5314a9ac418766a2edcbacfbe1 . If you get a different md5 sum, you have something other than the LW 4.9.23 basic installer for OS X.
