Hey, Limewire USED to look and work great on my mac.. now all downloads freeze after about 30 seconds, disabling all network connections (even my browser and mail wont work) until I quit limewire.

Does wnyone know what causes this and how I can fix it

I have a 3G connection and LW seems to choke up my line

is there anything that can be done to open the pipeline?

Take it easy how you use LW. Don't downld too many files simultaneously & don't use the Resume/Find Sources function on too many files at once as it has side-FX. Just one or 2 files at once if you use this function. Also, after you open LW, let it settle before using. If you have a lot of shared & incomplete files, then let them load & allow the incompletes to try to reconnect by themselves before adding any more to the list. I mean like waiting 10-30 mins depending on how many shared & incomplete files you have.
