Same problem here, crashes upon start; even a freshly downloaded version with new prefs...

Interestingly I did the non combo update from 10.4.2 to 10.4.3; but the combo update did not seem to help the previous user.

I've repaired perms and rebooted, no luck.

Stumped as to the cause.
