I'm sorry to have this be my first post on these forums, but I'm stuck and desperate - and praying someone can help me.
The short of it is - I was searching screenwriting on limewire this morning. After trying a couple of unsuccessful files, I thought I'd delete them from the program. I went into the limewire library - and without looking deleted what I saw. Apparently the side bar was open to desktop, and I unknowingly deleted stuff off my desktop - I didn't know this was possible. One of those things was a book I began. Oddly, I cannot find the files in my regular trash in the dock - it's in some type of limewire deleted files folder. I have not quit the app. What if anything can I do?

If you're using Tiger then perhaps not much. If earlier then use Norton unerase or some others like Data Rescue X
