If I need to uninstall limewire basic on mac osx 10.4.7,does anyone know how to do this thoroughly and safely,without leaving any bits and pieces behind?

Drag The Limewire application from the application folder to the trash and also the preference folder from users>your name>preferences> Limewire.

Also you may have an Install LimeWire.pkg or two in HD>Library>Receipts move those to the trash

That is about it, but you may have an old installer or two, which I would recomend you keep, in case you want them in future, but do a finder search for Limewire, and you will find them if you want to trash them too.

This is what you need to do on OSX 10.2.9 I think yours is the same.
