Not a problem, just wondering something. I did the Java update from 1.4 to 1.5 as recommended by LOTR in "Sticky: Major Topics for General OSX Help", and it went fine thanks to his excellent detailed instructions (thanks LOTR; your dedication, incl. those graphical instructions you do, is much appreciated). But there was one item of confusion: nowhere in the entire process, neither in the Java prefs nor in the Apple web pages cited, did the term "1.5" appear. Instead the new thing is referred to as J2SE 5.0. It wasn't until days later when I happened to do an "About Limewire" for a totally unrelated reason, that I noticed any evidence that I'm using Java 1.5, expressed with that number.
So wazzup with the Java numbering here? Also, LOTR, maybe you might include a note about this in your updating instructions, in case there are any dummies like myself doing this update in the future who might suffer the same confusion? Thanks G4 - OSX 10.4.9 - LW 4.12.3 - Java 1.5.0_02 [I guess. ]

Good question, and I am not sure myself why they refer to java versions that way. It does confuse some people. Especially as they refer to Java 1.4 as 1.4 lol
I will add a comment, thanks longjump.
