Problem Editing downloads in ITunes

Since I have upgraded to 10.5(Leopard), I am unable to edit info on any downloaded songs(Limewire) imported into ITunes. For example - I can't change the genre, add artwork etc. Current songs and uploaded songs continue to edit. Using 4.15 for MAC.
