i just bought a mac with leopard installed on it and i cant connect to limewire and its not the wireless because on my old pc i can still connect. please HELP

Also when i go into the connections tab in limewire no hosts appear and if i try to add one it appears conneting for like 4 seconds then it ust disappears PLEASE help!
