![]() I think version 2.2 is a great example of what Java should do. Yes, Apple insists on forcing the Aqua interface onto Java apps, but 2.2 (vs. 2.1, or 1.7) runs exactly as it should. I'd rather see development hours put into the unified Java source than wasted by developing for three or more platforms individually. (And yes, I do appreciate the development time that must be devoted to platform-specific testing and bug fixing - In a perfect world, Microsoft would understand why anyone would want to program a cross-platform Java application) cheers md syo@(nospam)yahoo.com |
