Default Mac Issues!

Hello! I purchased limewire pro for my mac a few months ago.It did not work. When I contacted customer support I was told that this was because it doesnt work on macs. I was refused a refund, and told that I should have read the information and seen it doesn't work on macs. However, I looked on the limewire site today and see it does say compatible for macs. So can I get it working? My email has been removed from the database, so I can't contact limewire now. Is there a way to contact them?
Thanks!!

Gee, I didn't know that Mac computers won't run Java any more !

Great customer service, eh ?

Have a large look around these forums re: problems with newer editions of LimeWire and Java updates.

Mac Customer Support or LimeWire ?

If the answer is Mac Support, you were attempting to communicate with a total idiot.

If it was the official LimeWire Support who told you this... Well, the mind boggles to the extent that I am almost certain that you paid for a scam.
Many others have been victims of scam download sites.

Sorry.
I hope I'm wrong and that you actually did deal with the real LimeWire support site and that the person who 'helped' you was on their first day and out before first coffee break !
And, I hope that you have not been scammed !

So, exactly how did you purchase LimeWire Pro ?

Do you have all of the relevant records regarding the transaction ?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I contacted limewire support about 3 months ago, and I got fairly lengthy replies to my emails, which makes me think it wasn't a scam. And the download of basic limewire works fine.

Hi again...

Try this:

Send a Private Mesage, within these Gnutella Forums, to limenathan.

Explain as many details about your problem as you can in the first PM...
Perhaps it would be a good idea to copy the URL of this thread and include that in your PM as well.

limenathan works for LimeWire and it is his task to resolve issues regarding the Pro versions.
He should also be able to confirm as to whether or not your previous contacts were with the real LimeWire or not.
