Hello, I'm running a Mac OSX Version 10.4.11 with QuickTime Player version 7.5. But once I have downloaded a tv show/movie from Lime Wire the video that is played back in QuickTime Player is always blank with no sound. Can someone please help? Thank you.

We normally recommend VLC player. See Problems viewing video on OSX (click on link). I'd recommend Perian to work with QT. Also get VLC as a back up player, it can also be used for both audio & video streaming off the internet.

Find a file of each type, select each, Command (apple key) & i key, or File menu -> Get Info, then go down to Open with, choose VLC from drop down menu, then click the button which says Change all. Sample image here: How to change default program in OSX ![]() The Azureus example might be a little clearer but imagine it says VLC instead of Azureus.
