no, all files that were 100% downloaded will still be on your computer. Perhaps in a different location. Just need to check your computer via search. Else perhaps they do not show up in library because they are not being shared.

I had the same problem opening Limewire 5 with my iMac with Intel core 2 duo, running 10.5.6. It was still using the default 32-bit Java, so I went to the MacintoshHD>Utilities>Java>Java Preferences. I saw that Java SE6 was in the list, but not at the top. It must have previously been downloaded during a software update, but was not the Java in use. I dragged Java SE6 to the top of the lists for both the applet versions and application versions.
I downloaded Limewire 5 again and it worked. What a relief.

Default Java 1.6

I don't see Java 1.6 in list or anything like it. The closest I see is: J2SE 1.4.2
32-bit or java SE6 64-bit. Where do I get Java 1.6?

Mortfe, refer to my post (#9) just a couple of posts back. Use Java SE6 and drag it to the top of the lists.
