Cannot Change DL Destination...

hey guys -- i have been using limewire for years and love it.

currenly i am on an iMac OSX Version 10.4.11 with Intel Core Duo
running LimeWire 4.18.8

I had some issues so I restored all my defaults...
upon resetting them after this solved my problem -- i have a new problem.

when i try to change my download destination folder to something other than the default [i save my files on an external HD] and i go to click "APPLY" and the "OK" limewire is FREEZING!!

this never happened before - does anyone have any suggestions?
should i just uninstall and reinstall?

if so -- where do i find the older versions of limewire for my OS?
