Mac Os X 10.4.11

I have MAC OS X 10.4.11 and when I went to download the 'older' installer for Limewire, it did not allow me to - it always went back to 5.1.2....and continued to give me that 'need upgraded OS X or Java'.
What other suggestions do you have?
