I recently tried to reinstall basic limewire, and once I open it, nothing is working. I tried to search for music but all I get is one field to fill out and nothing happens when I click on anything. Is it possible I downloaded the wrong limewire? And if so, how do I know which one to install?

If you were able to open LW, then chances are your system is compatible with the minimum requirements of LW 5. However, some people find the new LW 5 a little too heavy to run on their systems, not behave well, etc. like you have. You might wish to downgrade back to LW 4 which will most likely behave well for you. LW 4 also has more tools than LW 5. See more about downgrading here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/mac-os...0-5-later.html
