LW 1.7 RULES my Mac

After purchasing LW Pro 2.1.3 and "suffering" through several upgrades(?)
(now at LW 2.3.3) i've determined that for now LW 1.7 RULES MY MAC

I'm Now at LW 2.3.3 Pro BUT,

LW 1.7 RULES on my MAC.............
Only LW 1.7:
1) Allows me to "reconnect" when I've been "disconnected/no files available"
.......or if I don't like the quality of my "hosts" and number of files available.
2) Resumes my in-progress downloads at the point where they were interrupted,
......when my AOL connection is broken;
......when my "AOL host computer stops responding";
......when my LW freezes;
......or when the my (old) Performa just gets tired.
3) LW 1.7 resumes my downloads (at the point ((%)) where they were interrupted)
.......despite a (Mac) "reset button" quit or "forced quit";
.......and a TOTAL restart (10-15min);
.......even if my next LW log-on waits until he next day
......(as long as my host is still online)
4) LW 1.7 lets me see the my "host addresses"
.......so I can "daisy chain" onto additional downloads if the host has other files that I want.
5) Gets files that are "ready" for iTunes.
6) Does not overtax my built-in RAM, or my processor.
7) Has given me more than 95% of my downloaded Mp3 files.


If you are having trouble with LW X.X.X on your Mac,
Try LW 1.7

Warning...If you have a LW version that you like, don't ditch it for an upgrade!
Newer is not necessarily Better (for the Mac).

lime wire 1.7 work well on mac ? ok but how can i find this old version of lime wire ?
