I purchased LimeWire Pro 2.4.4 the other day for Macintosh and the one thing I cannot seem to do with this program is copy and paste. I will copy text from a text file and try to paste it in a search box, but it won't work. Any ideas why this is?

Yep, you'll get copy/paste support with Sun's JRE 1.4.0 (which isn't available for Mac).

The simplest of features is not supported on the Mac? Very strange.

I don't know why, but somehow Sun is either not allowed or not willing to release a JRE for Mac themselves (although it should be quite simple to port the JRE from Linux or Solaris to MacOSX), so Mac users have to wait for Apple to release the Java Runtime Environments (and the JREs don't have the top priority for Apple).

Don't know if this works on a Mac, but in Windows you can use ctl-c for copying and crtl-v to paste.
