Applications
If I search fro programs using a mac on limewire will all the ones that vcome up be for a mac or might i download something for windows by mistake?
thanks -- Robin That is, say i search for photoshop -- willall the photoshops that come up be for mac?

Look at the search results --- if the file type is zip or exe, it is windoze
Mac specific files usually show as type sit or hqx. Other types (such as mov, avi. mp3, etc) are not platform specific --- though you may need to install software to run them.
