![]() It may say T1, but who knows what connection speed they really have. Increasing the speed given in the prefs. increases the number of connections to ultrapeers. Also, remember that your upstream is considerably slower than your downstream -- so is the other person's. That means that with average DSL, three people uploading will only get 5-6 K/sec., even less depending on how much bandwidth you have reserved for host connections. Now and again, you actually get a T3 that is a T3 and acts accordingly -- then watch that progress bar zoom to the right! |
