 I quite agree! The reason for this is that everyone has given up developing Java for the dying OS9. The classic version uses 1.1.8, OSX uses 1.3.1 and Windows 1.4. So OS8-9 users are stuck with a limited version of Limewire (no internal media player,for example) running on an old, clunky version of Java.  |
